After a three year hiatus, the Pittsburg Arts & Community Foundation is once again proud to present the California Zinfandel Competition and Dinner hosted by Discovery Homes. Every Zinfandel producer in California is invited to participate, and entries into the competition enable the Pittsburg Arts & Community Foundation to continue its mission to enhance and enrich the community with literacy and arts programs and classes. 

 

Wines entered will be given the distinction of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Double Gold, as well as Best Value (wines priced under $20/bottle) during two rounds of blind tasting by a diverse panel of judges from all segments of the wine world. The four wineries earning Double Gold honors will be invited to receive their awards in person at a fundraising dinner in September as guests of the Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation. On that evening, a final round of blind tasting will take place, and the Grand Champion will be awarded!
